Solved: I have old Pagemaker Files (specifically.pm6 files) which I need access to. I have downloaded an old copy of InDesign CS6 and was able to open.pmd - 11183181. Choosing from the menu 'FILE', we perform the command 'Open' and the explorer window we select the file we are interested in, and then we confirm by pressing enter. This method is more time-consuming, but enables us to definitively state whether we use the correct application to open the files with the.PMD extension.
Adobe Pagemaker was discontinued 2004 but a lot of users kept using for couple of years later and many of them still have decent cache of documents and publications saved as.
